At sixteen, I found myself pregnant, terrified, and convinced I had no one to turn to. Within 24 hours, I made a decision in secrecy and fear that would shape the next seventeen years of my life. The abortion was over quickly, but the ache that followed was not. I carried a quiet shame that settled deep, grief I didn’t know how to name, and a silence that felt safer than the truth.

For years, I believed I was the only one.

For years, I doubted healing was possible for women like me.

But God met me in the very place I thought was beyond His reach. He took what I hid and turned it into the very thing He would use to set me free.

Today, as chemical abortion is promoted as “simple,” “private,” and “no big deal,” more women than ever are being left alone to face the emotional and spiritual fallout. I speak into that silence because I lived in it. I know what it feels like to walk out of a clinic and wonder who you are now. I know what it feels like to believe you’ve forfeited your future. And I know what it feels like when Jesus steps into the middle of that pain and whispers, "You are still Mine."

My heart is to give voice to the women who feel unseen, unheard, or beyond redemption. I help churches, pregnancy centers, and donors understand what happens after the clinic doors close or the pill is taken, and I walk with women toward the healing and freedom I once thought impossible.

I’ve written three books, I Had a Secret for Seventeen Years, the Bible study Free Indeed, and Lead with Love. I enjoy speaking at women’s events, banquets, churches, and pregnancy center fundraisers where honesty and redemption matter.
